Taylored Expressions
Color Me Background
This is a super background stamp can be used with a variety of mediums.
For the first card, the image is heat embossed with gold embossing powder on black watercolour paper.
It was painted with Altenew's metallic water colour paint set. As I wanted an intense colour I sprayed some water into the pans and painted direct to the paper.
When complete this was layered onto gold card and and adhered to a black card base.
For the sentiment I used the Framed Script "Happy" die from Taylored Expressions and a "birthday" from another stamp set.
For the second card I stamped the image with Memento ink and coloured with Copic markers (alcohol markers).
For the sentiment I used stamps from Altenew's Happy Birthday stamp set. It was heat embossed with white embossing powder
Another version of the same background stamp. This time heat embossed with silver and coloured with Zig Clean Color markers.
It was added to a card base with a vellum overlay for the sentiment.
