One major bugbear is if you click through to view a product and then click the “Back” button it takes you back to the start of your search! Really frustrating!!
There are several ways to get around this….
If you want to use a product you need to Download.
This will arrive in your “Downloads” folder as a zip folder. Just click twice on the zip folder to unzip the files.
For Graphics your file may have separate folders for jpg, png and pdf of the same images. Some graphic downloads will include a folder for Adobe Illustrator.
For Fonts you will need to download the otf file and follow your computers guidelines for uploading fonts. Once you have uploaded your font to the computer you can use it in software such as Google Docs or Microsoft Word.
To use your downloaded images for card making open a new word processing document on your computer.
Either copy and paste the image from your downloads folder or use the "Insert Image" option.
In Microsoft Word, you can find it by clicking Insert in the task bar, then find Pictures in the ribbon and select "Picture from File" from the drop down menu.
Once inserted into the document you can resize the image using the diagonal resizing handles. By using the Picture Format option you can also crop, rotate and flip the image.
Use good quality paper/card and set your printer to "BEST" settings for a sharper and crisper print. This is especially important for colour images.
If using card check that your printer is able to print onto card. Often card will print best from a rear facing feed.
If printing for colouring also check that your printer ink is OK with whatever colouring medium you want to use.
