Tips for Using Vintage Printables
- Lightly brush the edges of your printable elements with a brown ink such as Vintage Photo Distress Ink to hide the white cut lines.
- Combine various styles of vintage printables to create a unique piece. For instance, you can use a floral design with old newspaper print to create an eccentric look.
- Layer your vintage printables with other crafting supplies like washi tapes, buttons, stickers, laces, etc. for a more textured and 3D effect on your handmade cards, scrapbooks and junk journals.
- It can be frustrating when your printables don't stay in place. To avoid this, use the right adhesive. Double-sided tape or glue stick works well for lighter printables. While a stronger liquid glue may be needed for heavier elements.
